Smith will ship to Belmont Park Friday the horses that he has here for Victor Emanuel. Jockeys C. Rollins and A. Snider will go to New York to ride at Jamaica. The first important juvenile sale of the spring season was consummated at Havre de Grace Thursday morning. Jimmy Stewart, acting for the Everglades Stable, sold to W. E. Boeing of Seattle the colt Dodger. The juvenile was turned over to his new owner for a considertaion said to be more than! ,000. The son of Dodge is credited with several fast trials over the Havre de Grace , strip. j Patrick A. Nash was an arrival from Chicago for the final two days of the meeting and to confer with trainer John J. Greely. H. J. Bundscho, trainer of the stake winner Teddy Weed, was an arrival from Miami. His horses are at Havre de Grace. Bill Obert accepted his first mount of the meeting. The veteran was astride Chiliad in the opening race Thursday. j After the downfall of Sun Antioch, the fifteenth straight favorite to be beaten, I George Bryan, of Baltimore, suffered a fatal heart attack in the clubhouse.
