CHANCE VIEWS MILE IN 1:38 s5 SAN BRUNO, Calif., April 13. Galapas. a double handicap winner at the meeting, and Chanceview, the old mud horse, worked in company Thursday morning at Tanforan and, wonder of wonders, Chanceview "hung it on" his more highly regarded mate. The pair worked one mile - and Chanceview stepped along to the tune of 1:38, while Galapas was clocked in 1:39. Chanceviews fractions were the quarter in :23, the half in :47, and the three-quarters in 1:12. Both are entered in the Marchbank Handicap.
