THIRD DEGREES FAST WORK LEXINGTON, Ky., April 13. Third Degree, the most promising of the Greentree Stable three-year-olds, underwent the standout workout of the entire training season here this spring when he went a mile in 1:42 between races this afternoon. The course was in only good condition. The son of Questionnaire and Panache, which is being pointed for the Blue Grass Stakes here before the Kentucky Derby, went out an additional furlong under the watchful eye of trainer John Gaver in 1:55. He was timed the first quarter in :24, half in :50, and three-quarters in 1:16, doing the fourth quarter in :25.
