1 LEXINGTON TURF NOTES 1 a William OToole, owner of the Blue Ridge Farm stable, came here from his home in Chicago for the opening. OToole will return to Chicago Saturday night. C. W. Pershall and Orville Hodge of Granite City, 111., arrived. Pershall has his stable here in charge of Tommy Root. Galloping Star, a two-year-old son of Gallant Sir, the property of W. H. Whitehouse, in charge of trainer H. H. Temple, Jr., was unsexed. We Wonder, another juvenile, owned by Temple, was also unsexed. Both youngsters were moved from Keeneland to the Lexington trbtting track. Joe Cowley arrived from Churchill Downs and will ride free lance.
