MARCH GOLD IMPORTS UP WASHINGTON, D. C, April 13. Due to the unsettled condition of European affairs, gold continued to.be shipped into this country in larger amounts during the month of March when a total of 65,000,000 worth of the precious metal came into the United States. This represented an increase of 13,-000,000 over March, 1938, when gold imports I totaled but 2,000,000.
