RAMASES took command at once and, showing a good burst of speed while drawing clear of RED DOCK, responded well when shaken up in the stretch and won with something to spare. RED DOCK raced wide early, was unable to menace the winner, but was easily best of the others. BAY CARSE began in a tangle, moved up rapidly when clear and finished well. THIRD COVEY showed a good performance despite performing greenly. CENTUPLE had a rough race. COOPERSTOWN raced on the inside in the stretch. MALINDA B. drove forward after a slow beginning, was steadied along for three-eighths and, responding well when called upon and benefited by her riders tactics, wore down GENERAL R. in the final forty yards and won drawing away. GENERAL R., hustled along from his outside position, bore over slightly when wearing STEARS down, but was unable to withstand the winner. MY CREST, outrun early, improved her position on the outside and closed well. STEARS took command under energetic handling, was unable to draw clear and tired in the late stages. BOBBIN had a rough trip. DISPLAY ME was forced back soon after the start and showed little thereafter. UPHOLD tired after moving up. COURTESY FIRST was in close quarters for five-sixteenths. STAR BANNER, far back for half a mile, moved up gamely and closed with a rush. BLUEFIELD sprinted into a clear early, lead, set a. good pace, but tired after, five-eighths. DIXIE GIRL had no mishaps. SOUND WAVE, never far back, moved up near the final threc-eie.hths and was in close quarters in the drive. BEL ESPOIR came, from far back. BOY VALET had no mishaps. RITZ BROTHERS raced evenly.
