JUDGE E. S. THOMAS RESIGNS WASHINGTON, D. C, April 13. The resignation of Federal Judge Edwin S. Thomas has been accepted by President Roosevelt. The jurist was under investigation by the Department of Justice, as is also former Judge Martin T. Manton and the McKesson and Robbins drug scandal.
