RANSACK COMMITTEE HOUSE WASHINGTON, D. C, April 13. The offices of the Dies House committee were ransacked four times in the ten-day period preceding April 3 and have been under a night guard since. The guard was hired at the suggestion of the congressional superintendent of buildings and grounds after Chairman Martin Dies discussed the situation with House leaders. Though desks showed apparent signs of having been searched and a file riflqd, examination by committee officials today disclosed nothing of importance missing. Robert E. Stripling, secretary of the committee, said it was "apparently the work of snoopers." He said the matter had been kept secret in an effort to apprehend the intruders.,.
