ORBRIDGE, close to the pace from the start and saving ground in the stretch, finished in courageous fashion under hard riding and won in a hard drive. DANKE SCHON cut over sharply going to the first turn, then raced to the front on the back stretch to take a eood Jpad in the stretch, but could not hold it. UALLNO, probably best, was cut off sharply going to the first turn, was taken up when in dose quarters on the back stretch and aeain on the far turn, but came, to the outside in the stretch to finish fast. ROYAL REIGH was forced wide on the first turn and laced wide thereafter, but closed ground. SPORTING GREEN was cut off on th first turn. GILBERT ELSTON was never a contender. ALS PRIDE had a rough race. SKY EMPRESS tired. UNPARALLED dropped far back in the first half mile, then closed a gap. TOROBANG tired. Overweight Torobang, 1 pound; Sporting Green, 1; Raceme, 1. KUMREIGH moved up steadily after going half the distance to wear down SUFFERN and CROSS SIGN in the stretch and was going away at the Finish. SUFFERN went to the front early to set a good pace and, withstanding a challenge from CROSS SIGN, shook off the latter in the stretch, but was unable to resist the winner. CROSS SIGN acted badly at the post and tired in the stretch. PORCELLUS raced evenly, but did not seriously menace the leaders. CLARCAROLE had speed to the stretch. CARITRE moved up fast on the inside near the stretch turn but was not good enough. SHORTBREAD was taken back when in close quarters in the early racing and did not menace the leaders thereafter.
