DISCUSS HAGUE APPEAL j WASHINGTON, D. C, April 22. Supreme Court justices in conference today were expected to discuss the appeal of Frank Hague from a drastic lower court federal injunction restraining the Jersey City mayor from interfering with the CIO and American Civil Liberties Union. The decision, which has been delayed for weeks, may be the next big pronouncement of the high tribunal. Hague attacked the decision of the lower court, which followed alleged ejection of members of the CIO and Civil Liberties Union from Jersey City after denial of permits to make speeches. As the court met in conference today, Justice William O. Douglas participated in the deliberations for the first time.
