BOOTER Mc tired after heading the others nearing the stretch turn. COHIGH dropped back after being headed by BOOTER Mc and was never dangerous thereafter. MONTOSO JAMES was in close quarters early. The latter, forced to lose ground early, was taken to the nside for the drive, went to the outside of the winner in the last stages and was fast wearing him down. INTRIP, rushed to the front, drew clear after five-sixteenths, gave way when the winner challenged, but held on well. HAZEL NUT had no mishaps. SOUND WAVE was outrun.
