BERLIN TO TOKYO FLIGHT BERLIN, Germany, April 22. The - Lufthansa airliner Ju-52, manned by Baron von Gablenz, German flying ace, and three other crew members, took off from Berlin today for a flight to Tokyo. The men planned to make the trip via Belgrade, Athens, Bey-ruth, Bagdad, Karachi, Calcutta, Allahabad, Bangkok and Hanoi. Purpose of the flight was to test the possibilities of a regular airline between Germany and Japan.
