DEVILS CRAG was outrun early, then responded well when urged in the stretch and finished well. GANNET was restrained when outrun, was roused entering the stretch, but did not menace the leaders and tired. SEASONAL, close to the early pace, tired steadily in the drive. BLACK LEGION was rushed into command at the start, showed speed throughout, raced BULL MOOSE into defeat, and was galloping through the final eighth. SCHUCHOR was close up in the early stages, responded in the stretch run and then held HENRYELS PICK safe, at the finish. The latter came through on the inside entering the stretch and closed gamely. JACAROO was outrun in the early stages, and made up ground steadily in thp stretch run. BE A BELLE was taken up after the start, and dropped back, then raced wide while entering the stretch.
