I LATONIA TURF NOTES . 1 Jockey Joe Cowley was an arrival from Louisville, Ky., where he spent several days with his family following the Detroit close, and will ride here for the rest of the meeting. C. R. Valentine returned from Winchester, Ky., and reported the purchase of a yearling bay filly by Islam from J. W. McCord. The pretentious stable of Keene Dainger-field, Jr., will be transferred to Dade Park in three sections. The first consignment is due to leave here Saturday with subsequent loads on Sunday and Monday. Apprentice Jack Flinchum, who is one of the most promising riding prospects seen in this section in some time, will accompany the stable of N. E. Shop to Dade Park at the close of Latonia.
