FIRESTONE BUILDS IN INDIA CLEVELAND, Ohio, July 27 The Firestone Tire and Rubber Company has announced that construction has started on a new tire factory in Bombay, India. The plant is expected to be ready for production purposes late in the fall. It will have a daily capacity of 400 tires and tubes.
