JOCKEY FERNANDO FERNANDEZ — Arrived at Delaware Park and will do the bulk of the riding for the John L. Mc-Knight stable. Occupancy in Line-Up For Sharpstown Purse Vies at Delaware With Dr. Moore, Bazaar Queen Oyer Six Furlongs DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., May 31. — Three-year-olds are featured here tomorrow afternoon in the six-furlong Sharpstown Purse, but the only stakes eligible lured into competition was Mrs. James McGees Occupancy, a lightly-regarded Delaware Oaks possibility. Other sophomores scheduled to compete are: Brandywine Stables Windflower, J. Graham Browns Dr. Moore, Circle M Farms Bazaar Queen, William G. Helis,. Jr.s, Roman Fair, Mrs. William E. Snells Win My Way, R. M. Davis Porter Man, the Mrs. R. H. Heighe entry of Strike and Shrewd and the Mrs. A. Roberts-A. T. Hiirff tandem of Security and Trojan War. Occupancy has been a hard luck filly since being acquired by Mrs. McGee, being cut down in her second start after having previously won two in a row. She didnt return to action until Pimlico and trailed The Pincher over a sloppy track. Improvement can be expected with that race under her girth. Bazaar Queen is a well-bred lassie, being by Bull Lea— Breath of Air. She has raced but twice, finishing second and third* She could give a good account of herself in this company. Dr. Moore, an invader from Kentucky, has won four of eight races this season while competing against claimers of the ,500 to ,000 variety. In her last she was beaten but a half length at six and a half furlongs, the winner being Sunshine Nell in 1:18%. i Roman Fair, a Roman colt trained by Frank Catrone, will be launching his 1951 campaign after having won a single race in five starts last year. Trials have been satisfactory and indicate that he is ready for a top performance. Trojan War, after three dismal races in New York last year, was dropped into a ,000 claimer at Garden State this season and won in 1:14%. This ones running mate, Scrutiny, was beaten nine lengths in his first start at the same point. Strike seems the better of the Heighe entry, having completed last against stakes fillies in the Black-Eyed Susan at Pimlico, in which she was third to Discreet and Break of Day. She was, however, beaten more than seven lengths and had practically nothing behind her. Shrewd graduated from the maiden ranks in his last start. Porter Man has been third and first in his only two starts, but against lesser company than he engages tomorrow. Wind-flower was unimpressive in a single New York venture, but prior to that was second to as good a filly as Miss Tinka. Win My Way is a non-winner in five starts this season. Preceeding the feature tomorrow is the Van Dyke Purse, designed for two-year-olds which have not won two races, and a surprise entrant was Cary C. Boshamers Miss Nosoca, who was the winner of Garden States Rancocas Stakes in her most recent engagement. Likely contention in the dash figures to come from Palatine Stables Toe, an impressive winner in New Jersey over ,000 claimers, and Brook-meade Stables Springbuck, a promising youngster.
