JOLLY JACKIE, prominent from the beginning, disposed of STAR CALL inside the stretch, and steadily drew clear under brisk urging: FLINT HEART responded readily when set down for the drive and closed with good courage. STAR CALL held sway until well inside the stretch before faltering. LITTLE MILLY was unable to improve her position when hard ridden through the late stages. JIMINY CRICKET lacked a rally. DUSTY DAYS, in close quarters immediately after the start, failed to recover. FOXY LIZ and UR TACK were always outrun. NICKATIME failed to stay. SHINING DEED steadily improved his position on the outside, but, under pressure, could not overtake the leader. WORCESTER moved up boldly on the outside to reach nearly even terms with the winner nearing the. furlong marker, bore over slightly on the latter inside the stretch, then tired. YARDTOWN failed to respond when called upon for his best effort CASTILE, fractious at the post, failed to make up appreciable ground. FIRST TENET lacked speed as usual. HADRAINI raced in nearest pursuit throughout and held on willingly to be best of the others. GEE-LIGHT raced evenly through the stretch without mishap while saving ground to no avail. BEAUTIFUL JANE had no apparent excuse. WOODFORD ROSE lacked a rally. LOUS CAPERS was outrun, as was LEAVEMEALONE.. QUEENS MYRTLE raced greenly through the stretch. MISTRESS RUTH began sluggishly. EM showed nothing. STREAMLINER, fractious at the post, never threatened during the running. The latter closed with a belated burst of speed and rapidly was wearing down the winner. .GAIL R. rallied too late to seriously endanger the leaders. VININA tired under punishment. NANCIE PATE, much used early, had little left GRACE MAE failed to attain the lead and quit. BALLERINA GIRL was through early. CLICKABLE trailed throughout in a dull effort. TORDAR failed to stay while racing between horses. FOXY STAR, shuffled back on the final turn, was unable to reach the leaders when clear. SPRING CHIMES failed to attain the lead and tired. ROSE BED quit. FLETTER and SISTER CORA were never formidable. ROMAN ROAD was always outrun. SKY RAIDER gave, way suddenly after a quarter mile. Overweight— Fletter, 2 pounds; Sister Cora, 11. WONDRING, in close quarters immediately after the beginning, recovered readily to race within reach of the early leaders, responded to urging to take command midway of the final furlong and won drawing away. COUNTESS IN gave way to the winner inside the stretch, but held on gamely to outfinish DIAMOND LANE. The latter, forced to take up when impeded by WONDRING nearing the furlong marker, closed resolutely when clear. CLEVELANDER showed good speed from the beginning, but was not good enough. RODRIGO was outrun. DELTA EAGLE was between horses during the entire journey. WAR TALK broke her bridle and unseated her rider during the post parade, failed to gain the lead during the early running and tired. ENFORCER quit, as did MR. BAM. NOT SORRY never threatened.
