Dillon to Race Eight Head At Ascot Park Meeting AKRON, Ohio, May 31. — Jack Dillon, the Canton, Ohio, horseman, will be well represented at the Ascot Park meeting, which opens Saturday. Three of Dillons colorbearers are already on the grounds and five more will move in with the close of the Beulah Park meet today. Its a comparatively young string, including the two-year-old Mr. Ascot, who appropriately enough will make his debut at the Ascot session. Griffo was started once last year. Now a four-year-old, the horse had a good taste of racing at Hot jSprings. He, Vinita Dixie; m,,winner ulast year, and the youngsters, Bens Folly and Miss Jacqueline, are at Beulah. Wise Pose, Vinita Sickle and Esorlem are at Ascot. The latter is a five-year-old and was bred by the Cleveland hotel man, Torrance Melrose, whose name he carries in reverse. He has fronted a field as has Vinita Sickle, but the mare has picked up a single triumph while grabbing down the place chips in four races. Add to that three show efforts and you have a fair sort of runner.
