Giants Transfer Wilson ♦ NEW YORK, N. Y., May 31 UP.— The New York Giants transferred Negro shortstop Artie Wilson from their Ottawa farm in the International League to the Minneapolis Millers of the American Association today. Wilson was sent to Minneapolis to replace shortstop Ruby Rufer, who is out with an injured leg. Rufer was optioned to Minneapolis early this season. Wilson was sent to Ottawa last week when the Giants brought up Willie Mays, 20-year-old Negro outfielder, from Minneapolis.
