St. Claire Fractures Thumb BOSTON, Mass., May 31 UP.— Ebba St. Claire, Boston Braves catcher injured yesterday attempting to catch a foul ball in a game at New York, will be out of play for two to three weeks with a fractured thumb, it was announced today. Dr. Paul Butler announced the decision after X-rays had been made of the catchers right hand.
