Shaffer Plans Trip to Farm DETROIT, Mich., May 31.— E. E. Dale Shaffer, president of the Michigan Racing Association, plans a quick trip to his Coldstream Stud over the week-end to inspect the yearlings that the farmed Kentucky thoroughbred nursery will offer at the Keeneland summer sales. While in the Blue Grass state, Shaffer will confer with his farm manager, Charles Keeney.
