RODGER JOE broke with the field, dropped back and did not get into full stride until midway on the final tum, responded to alert handling and came inside to draw clear before the end. JEAN METER established the pace, came out slightly on the final turn, continued on gamely, but was not good enough. CUSTODY, close up along the inside, drew abreast the leader in the stretch, then hung. CAN LOCATE, fcrwardly placed, lacked a closing rally. LADY DELL saved ground, but was unable to menace. ISOLUC, an early trailer, worked his way up between hcrses to engage for command entering the stretch, assumed command, moved to the inside and just lasted. DANCING GOB, taken back off the pace and steadied to the final quarter mile, was in close quarters on the turn, secured room when straightened and was catching the winner. MICKY Q. closed with a belated rush cn the outside. SIAMESE established the pace to the final furlong, then tired. GINO GRAY, in hand to the far turn, rallied to engage the leader, then faltered. SIGH QUEEN raced with the pace and held on stubbornly to the final furlong. TOMMYS MEMORY was hard pressed while setting the early pace, then tired. COURT RINA shewed nothing. FEEFIFOFUM was taken up sharply soon after the start and was not persevered with thereafter. HI BUNTY trailed most of the trip. BOUND opened a clear lead soon after the start, was under light urging to final turn, then was energetically handled to hold JEANS JAY safe. The latter improved position gradually along the inside and was pressing at the end. MY FREEDOM forced the pace, made a game bid entering the stretch, but was not good enough. FALSE FRONT broke alertly, was taken back and steadied while kept in close attendance of the pace, rallied mildly, but was unable to menace. BEAMING LIGHT lost ground throughout.
