OFF AT 2:32 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won handily; second and third driving. GRILLING was briskly urged into a clear lead, frcm between horses on the far turn, then evenly held his advantage while winning handily ALWAYS HOME gradually, worked his way forward on the inside and finished well. BOLO RUNAWAY saved ground showing speed, readily gave way to the winner and gradually weakened. MASTER SHOWMAN, never far back, bore out on the turns and then lacked a rally. DANA DEL began alertly and had speed into the stretch, then faltered. SIR WHITE saved ground making up distance after a sluggish start. AIROLO quit. LEONIDOFF gave a poor showing. PRINCE RANSOM saved ground and, under alert urging, drew clear of the opposition midway on the turns, then lasted while doing his best. BROWN FOX began alertly, but was unable to stay with the winner rounding the turns, remained closest to the winner and .dosed determinedly in the last stages. JIMMINY GOSH gradually entered closer contention and finished gamely between horses. LETS DANCE, away slowly and outrun, rallied strongly through the final three-sixteenths and finished fastest of all. DOMINICAN was a keen factor, but faltered. PUFFBALL raced well outside horses. GAY TEN, unable to reach the front, quit. ETERNAL GREAT bore out on the turns -and quit GRAND BARTER tired badly, stumbled entering the stretch and was pulled up. TRIBUTE displayed superior speed from the beginning, set the pace under mild .pressure and then won with speed in reserve. CLEVER REWARD was under intermittent urging while a forward factor and finished well under punishment to best FEAR BOMB. The latter, away slowly, steadily entered closer contention, was forced to "swing wide for the finish and closed gamely. GLORIOUS EMMA was a sharp factor under hustling and held oh fairly well. CHERUB had speed to the stretch and faltered. BOLO LASS was not a factor. MARY B. T. lost distance racing on the outside and tired. FIDDLES did not appear fit and trailed. FOURTH RACE 5-8 MILE. The latter immediately established a commanding lead, held sway into the last furlong and then could not resist the winner. JANDY was hustled along in company with* SIREN SONG, but lacked a closing rally. BARBAREBA, In slightly close quarters on the far turn, recovered nicely and Finished well. MISS TINKA raced along freely while setting the pace without opposition, readily gave way to the winner, but was easily best of the remainder. TOY FOX raced prominently placed and weakened. .OFF LINE, fractious at the gate, was slow to reach stride, circled extremely wide, rallying on the turns and tired. SHERRY had.no excuse. BENBOW guit.
