PAMARIS was a sharp factor from the break, gained the lead when UNATTACHED faltered and lasted over RUTH HANSON. The latter went between horses after a sluggish beginning and just missed. HADASSAH was forwardly placed throughout.and had no excuse. UNATTACHED faltered after showing early speed. SWEET PRYME was outrun. TORNAROSE went into the air at the break and tired after, showing early speed. GOLDEN METEOR was through early. TROMPETA tired. ADA C. was outrun. HIGH TEA refused to break. KENTUCKY TOWN was forced to race wide while improving position, bore in badly and had to be repeatedly placed in hand through the drive and wore down HAPPY DEVIL in the final stride. A claim of foul against the winner by the rider of HAPPY DEVIL was not allowed. The latter moved up steadily on the outside to" be with the leaders/also bore in through the drive, but reached the lead between calls in the final furlong and just missed. READY ANSWER dropped back under light, restraint on the backstretch, forced her way between horses to obtain a slight advantage in the stretch, but was not good enough. " JACO MARTY went between horses after a slow start. OUR SAM saved ground while a sharp contender and tired. SUGARBUSH was forced to lose ground on the turn while duelling for the lead and weakened in the drive. STAR SPANGLER had good speed for a half mile and gave way. BRIGHT FLARE quit. JAM made, a bad landing at the first fence, worked his way up gradually thereafter, displaced the leaders after the seventh, fence and won fully extended. QUIET oropped back under hard restraint, bullied his way between horses when making his bid and closed resolutely. HYVANIA was prominent from the start, but faltered after the seventh hedge. SCARE-PLAY, shuffled back nearing the first fence, went between horses tc be closest to the winner and made a bad landing at the final obstacle, LOOK AROUND tired. SEMPER EADEM had no mishap. SWIGGLE was through early. SILVER BRIDGE tired and his rider lost a stirrup at the eighth fence. NEW RULE quit. H HOUR fell at the fifth fence. FOURTH RACE 3-4 MILE. DEFLATION, never far back, was forced to race wide leaving the turn, then wore down HYP HOME in the final stride. The latter, a sharp factor from the break, gained the lead in the stretch and just failed. MAIJO lacked speed, ran wide leaving the turn and closed with a rush. DETECTIVE went into a clear lead and came to the rail, entering the turn and faltered in the final furlong. BETSY MARIE, taken up at the start, lacked room in the drive while between horses. ALEATORY ran well until the stretch and weakened. SCOTCH WINE had early speed and tired. GOOD SPORT saved ground and, had no excuse. VINITA ED stumbled at the start and trailed. TEMM was forced wide oh the turn and failed to respond while in a trifle close through the stretch. QUIRINUS bore out leaving the turn. SALLYS FOLLY quit after making the pace early.
