- Dodgers Get USC Shortstop NEW YORK, N. Y., June 18 UP.— Robert Lillis, 20-year-old University of Southern California shortstop, was signed today by the Brooklyn Dodgers* Mobile farm club in the Southern Association. He hit .333 this spring while leading USC to the Pacific Coast Conference title. The Altadena, Califf, youngster will report to the Dodgers Pueblo, Colo, farm in the Class A Western League.
