Paris Steeplechase to Nagara PARIS, France, June 18 Ruters .— J. P. Phillips English-owned and French-bred Nagara, by Astrophel — Nine Two, won the 4,000 Grand Steeplechase de Paris over four miles, 110 yards at Auteuil today. The nine-year-old Nagara, with 141 pounds up, beat the five-year-old favorite, Le Darara, with 137 pounds up, by two lengths, with Pharamond U. two lengths away in third place. * .
