Cochise Assigned Top Impost For Queens County Handicap BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., June 18. — Racing secretary-handicapper John B. Campbell has assigned Brandy-wine Stables Cochise the top impost of 126 pounds for Saturdays 0,000 Queens County Handicap. This mile and a sixteenth race heads the week-end program over at Aqueduct. Cochise, who dead-heated with Post Card in the Brandywine Handicap, tljen won the Sussex Handicap- from that horse in his last start, is asked to give two pounds to Rokeby Stables County Delight and Isidore Biebers Palestinian. County Delight has not been seen since finishing third behind Busanda and Lone Eagle in the Suburban on Memorial Day, while Palestinian has recently resumed serious training after several weeks on the sidelines. Peter A. Markeys Piet is next in the Queens County weights with 122, a pound more. than George D. Wideners Lights Up. The latter finished a close second to One Hitter in the Massachusetts Handicap last week, conceding eight pounds, gives only two to the Greentree horse here. The field for the Queens County is a little hard to guess as several of the more likely candidates are stabled at Delaware and Monmouth, while others such as Piet , and Palestinian may not be quite ready for the race. Three Rings, who won the last two editions of the Queens County, is being freshened in, Kentucky. Complete weights follow: Horje. WL Horse. Wt.
