Blue Grass Bridle Paths Open In Lexington This Week LEXINGTON, Ky., June 18.— A long-felt need in the Blue Grass country will be realized this week with the opening of the Blue Grass Bridie Paths. Visitors to breeding farms have been disappointed to find that there were few facilities for riding in the. heart of the thoroughbred breeding domain and public spirited citizens united to open riding stables here. Sponsored by the Lexington Chamber of Commerce and assisted financially by private donations a tract of 200 acres was secured adjoining the airport and a stable of 20 stalls has been completed. The riding academy will be operated under the guidance of Kob Ryan, a Norwegian riding master of Jong experience. He already has 11 saddle horses ready for service. The long-range theory prompting the development of the bridle paths is the proven one that lovers of one type of horse frequently branch into the thoroughbred industry.
