Tides and Easter Morn Vie In Oak Grove at Delaware DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 18. — Three- and four-year-olds, who have never won two races other than maiden or claiming, are featured tomorrow afternoon in the ,500 Oak Grove Purse, a dash of six furlongs. On a program which definitely shows the effect of the racing conflict with nearby Monmouth Park, all supporting races carry the maiden or claiming clause. The overnight field for the Oak Grove includes the following: Nydrie Stables Tides, J. W. Y. Martins Easter Morn, C. B. Pischbachs Balla-Duke, Mrs. Nellie Anna-rinos My Nell, Brookmeade Stables Bold Beauty, Mrs. W. C. Hunneman, Jr.s, Octa-vias Daughter and the James Ryan-Mrs. Esther duPont Weir entry of Nicodem and Sauchiehall. Tides, a daughter of Blenheim II, is a well-regarded lassie, but has been able to win but a single race in four starts this season. In her recent local appearance she was beaten more than eight lengths while fourth behind Nells Boy. Easter Morn, after* winning three consecutive races in Maryland", has been unsuccessful in her two local races. The Swing and Sway filly was not disgraced in her last, however, for she was only 2V2 lengths behind Toreador in 1:12% over a good track. Behind Easter Morn in that event were Balla-Duke and Bold Beauty, who finished fifth and sixth, respectively. Balla-Duke was beaten four and one-half lengths and was three lengths clear of Bold Beauty. Prior to that, Balla-Duke was a winner at 50-1 in Maryland, while Bold Beauty hasnt reached the winners circle since 1949 at Saratoga.
