Monteiro Off Critical List-Manifold to Leave Hospital DETROIT, Mich., June 18. — Jockey Arthur Monteiro, injured in a fall with Milton Shagrins Sing Tu Lee at the local course last Friday, is off the critical list at Highland Park General Hospital, according to word from Dr. Malcolm MacQueen, MRA physician. Monteiro suffered a skull fracture, a concussion, and a broken collar-•bone in the spill, the worst of the present local season. Dr. MacQueen also announced that jockey Henry Manifold, who was hurt during a training mishap some time ago, will be released from the hospital this week.
