COLD HEART, impeded while between horses nearing the turn, worked her way up between horses when clear, disposed of OUR CRICKET on the rail and drew away. COUNTRY COZ, in good position from the start, threatened boldly in the stretch and was not good enough. OUR CRICKET raced FIDDLERS GIRL into defeat and reached a clear lead between calls in the stretch, then tired in the drive. MILSPAL had no excuse. HALCYON CHANCE made a game bid in the stretch and weakened. PRISM lacked speed. FIDDLERS GIRL had good speed and quit. ETERNAL BETSY ran out on the turn. DRESSY LADY, never far back, went between horses when gaining best stride, took command in the stretch and outgamed LIONS SHARE. The latter, broke sluggishly, was forced to race wide when improving position, engaged the top one in the stretch and bore in slightly through the drive. SUN ROAMER, shuffled back on the turn, found room between horses and closed strongly. STORM AT SEA shortened stride in the drive. MUSIC HORSE lacked room in the stretch. BRAVE BIM moved through on the inside and weakened in the final furlong. BLESSUSGALS had speed and tired, as did LEES FIRST. DRESS AFFAIR broke poorly and sulked in the early stages. FURTHERMORE, rated along early, moved up steadily when called upon, came out for the finish run and outgamed SWIGGLE. The latter was prominent from the start, took command at the final hurdle, but was not good enough. ESCARP vied for the lead from the start and had nothing left for the finish run. BERKELEY II. was pinched back entering the second turn, worked his way up on the inside and could improve off the effort. FLAG HO tired. FONDA showed little. EXPIATOR raced wide most of the way. LANCASTER LADY lunged at the start, trailed for the opening half mile, moved through on the rail with a rush in the stretoji, disposed of the leaders and drew away. FLEET ROSE was prominently placed while on the outside, made a game bid in the stretch, but was no match for the winner. BLUE FLASH was in close attendance of the leaders on the inside and lacked a closing rally. KNOT HOLE raced a trifle wide. STREAKME had good speed from the start, drew clear under hard punishment and tired. JUNE TIME bore out badly in the final three-sixteenths. SUSAN DEAR had speed and tired. FLYNET was outrun. The latter saved ground while prominent, went through on the rail to challenge in the stretch and faltered. AUDITING, in good position from the start, made a determined bid in the stretch and weakened. FIRST GLANCE made the pace in the opening half mile and tired in the final quarter mile. HIGH DIVE was outrun. ARISE went wide on the first turn, raced forwardly for six furlongs and appeared reluctant to extend himself thereafter. SEVENTH RACE 1 1-16 MILES. The latter went into a clear lead before a quarter mile, showed a tendency to bear out in the final three-sixteenths mile and just failed. LEGATE, allowed to drop back in the opening half mile, caught tired horses with a mild bid DALAL saved ground while well placed and bore out when tiring. PARAMOUNT PETE tired after pressinq the pace.
