j 1 : 1 1 1 : J Michigan Notes DETROIT, Mich., June 12. Jockey Fred Redmon, who is affiliated with the Raleigh Dees -trained stable, turned his engagement book over to Bill Smith. Marion H. VanBerg, who has divisions of his stable campaigning in Chicago, Omaha and at the local course, arrived from Illi-I nois and plans to remain here for several days. Jockey Billie Fisk returned from Cali- fornia, where he attended final rites for his father. Fisk plans to resume saddle activity this week. C. E. Buckleys Big Ike is being shipped to Waterford Park by trainer Cecil Lock-lear. After arrival at the West Virginia course, K. S. Cleveland will condition the five-year-old Isolater-sired stallion. Jockey Claude Hooper checked in from Fairmount Park and was granted a license to ride at the MRA meeting. Howard Underwood announced that he changed plans for shipping four horses to Arlington Park with trainer Johnny Zoeller and the thoroughbred quartet is to remain on the local scene. Brown Rambler, Ramjet, Hoosier Relic and Ocean Sky will race here under Mrs. Underwoods silks. Al Wellman will train the Underwood representatives. M. R. Kaplans plater, Bother, has been turned over to Charles O. Schweitzer for conditioning. Bother was formerly trained by John Zoeller, who is leaving for Arlington Park.
