Dallas Texans Get Rights To Eleven Ram Gridders DALLAS, Texas, June 12 UP.— The , Dallas Texans today acquired the rights to , 11 players on the Los Angeles Rams roster in one of the largest player swaps in the , history of the National Football League. The Texans bought eight players outright and traded the draft rights of their No. 1 choice, center Les Rich tier of California, for the other three, coach Jim ; Phelan said. Seven veterans and four rookies were involved in the deal. Fullback Dick Hoerner, end Tom Keane | and halfback Gabby Sims were the trio traded for Richters rights, while the eight bought outright were center Joe Reid, ! tackle Jack Halliday, guard Vic Vasicek and end Dick Wilkins, all veterans; and rookies Dick McKissack, a fullback, halfback Billy Baggett, quarterback David Anderson and center Aubrey Phillips.
