Rams, Chicago Cards to Play Pre-Season Exhibition Game LOS ANGELES, Calif., June 12 UP.— The Los Angeles Rams, National Professional Football champions, will meet the Chicago Cardinals in a pre-season exhibition game at Portland, Ore., on August 30, it was announced today. The teams will clash at Multnomah Stadium in their only meeting of the year, since they do not play each other during the regular 1952 season. The game will mark the return to Oregon M professionals of three former Oregon collegiate players, quarterback Norm van Brocklin, guard Dick Dougherty and defensive halfback Woodley Lewis.
