East Training Thirty MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport. N. J.. June 12, — One of the best balanced stables at Monmouth Park, awaiting next Saturdays inaugural, is that trained by A. F. "Jim" East. In his care are some 30 performers, including F. Eugene Dixon, Jr.s. Dinewisely, a candidate for the Monmouth Oaks; Mrs. Alfred Roberts Eedgeview and Eatontown, eligivle for several handicaps, and Little Greg and Cobber, named for three-year-old fixtures. An interesting member of the group is the two-year-old. Seascape, owned by Mrs. Townsend B. Martin. The youngster is a French -bred by Marsyas II., out of Farruca, and is a half sister to Sandjar, winner of the 1947 French Derby.
