Michigan Notes DETROIT. Mich., June 18. Leon Slavin, whose Jackson Raceway completed a successful harness meet last* Saturday, came over from Jackson Tuesday to confer with his new trainer, Stanley Greene. Jr. Slavins thoroughbreds are now racing under the Paper City Stable banner. Mrs. Sally London, wife of Jack London, Daily Racing Form staff employe, is making a satisfactory recovery after undergoing surgery at Highland Park Hospital. Mrs. London will be confined to the local infirmary for at least a week and possibly longer. President Richard Connell, vice-president Waldo Andrews, public relations director Jack Armstrong, and Miss Sarah Kaplan, front office secretary, made up a party from Hazel Park for the Tuesday racing at the MR A course. Connell has several useful racers quartered at the local oval in charge of trainer F. E. Arnold.
