On October 25 of that year the winning jockey on Frohman was John Daly, who was 10 years old at the time. Daly, now a racing official in New England, is a nephew of the late "Father Bill" Daly, famous trainer of that period, and a cousin of the late Danny Maher, one of the all-time great jockeys.
