REGAL GLAD closed with good energy after being sluggish early. TINSEL faltered after pressing the pace. KENSINGTON LAD came out of the race in a lame condition NICKIE C. weakened. HIS BOOTS fenced well while lagqlnq for much of the distance, moved boldly in the final half mile and, after assuming command, held HUNTING FOX safe. The latter closed with good enerqv after beinq slow to reach contention. EXTRA POINTS set the pace into the final jump and gave way. NIGHT PATROL weakened after challenging for the lead. TEDDY BRIAR raced forwardly placed while fencing fairly well, bobbled at the thirteenth jump and dropped back thereafter. ELYACIN and WYGANT were outrun. FOURTH RACE 5 1-2 FURLONGS. FAST JEEP lacked a menacinq rally while clearly best the others. ABRACADABRA broke tardily and failed to reach best stride. POMPOSITY faltered after racing forwardly. SIWANOY was outrun. MERRY MOUNT loomed a threat in the early stretch, but lacked a late surge. CONSUS was with the pace to the furlong pole and faltered. PACIFIC OCEAN flattened out in the drive.
