HIS BOOTS fenced well while lagqlnq for much of the distance, moved boldly in the final half mile and, after assuming command, held HUNTING FOX safe. The latter closed with good enerqv after beinq slow to reach contention. EXTRA POINTS set the pace into the final jump and gave way. NIGHT PATROL weakened after challenging for the lead. FAST JEEP lacked a menacinq rally while clearly best the others. ABRACADABRA broke tardily and failed to reach best stride. POMPOSITY faltered after racing forwardly. SIWANOY was outrun.
