STARRY SKY, hustled to gain a prominent position, was steadied rounding the turn, then responded when roused and brought to the outside in the stretch and won going away. HELEN GRAYSON determinedly resisted bids from TASTY DISH setting the pace, disposed of that one to draw clear, but was not good enough for the winner. JUN0X gradually improved her position racing on the outside and finished willingly. TASTY DISH was a keen contender into the stretch and weakened. MISS MARILEE finished well. DANDY DAN saved all possible ground, but tired RARE ART may have been in close quarters after the start and dropped back. SEVEN EMS was taken up at the start. BLUE CABOOSE began slowly. PELELIU raced clear of company in closest attendance to FIRST PEEP, closed well when shaken up for the stretch drive and drew clear under hand urging. FIRST PEEP dashed into a commanding lead, held sway into the last furlong and faltered BARBARA BELLE closed well in the last stages to gain her placing. MISS GRETCHEN was outrun early and had difficulty finding racing room between horses in the drive. BAYOU showed nothing. F0XAL0NIA bore out on the turn HELOT gave a dull effort. TIME FOR FUN slipped thiough on the rail to rapidly open a clear lead at the head of the stretch -then weakened under punishment. NERVE came between horses in the stretch drive and finished fast. BLACK AND BLUE picked up speed in the stretch run and closed well on the outside. DEPAL saved ground to improve position. OUR TOWN faltered. SAILS was not a factor. S0N0FUN quit. SILVER BLUE was alertly sent into a commanding lead, drifted slightly wide in the drive, but continued evenly under extreme pressure. SIR RARCO lost distance on the turn, then closed well, and handily bested KAMEHAMEHA. The latter was under steady urging, appeared mildly dangerous saving ground in the early stretch, but lacked courage. INCRIMINATION steadily made up distance from a slow beginning.
