Tiger Jones Meets Herring In Television Scrap Tonight NEW YORK, N. Y., April 30 UP.— Ralph "Tiger" Jones of Yonkers, N. Y., the ninth ranking middleweight, seeks to reverse a setback decision of last summer when he fights young Jimmy Herring of Ozone Park, N. Y., tomorrow night in a return 10-round bout at St. Nicholas Arena. Jones was a slight favorite to win the nationally televised and broadcast bout. The match will be a contrast in styles, since Herring is a speedy, clever boxer, while Jones is a "bulldog-type" fighter.
