Resseguet; bred by Mrs T Christopher «°pner REACHED POST-5:38. OFF AT 5:38J EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate for all but BLACK BAY. Won driving; second and third the same. CONNIE RAB in hand while kept within striking distance of the pace, responded gamely when sent up on the outside, overtook the leader inside the final sixteenth and was drawing clear. BRAVE BIM was sent into the lead after five furlongs, saved ground entering the stretch, but was not good enough. BANOVINA improved position gradually in the run down the backstretch and appeared to hang in the final stages. FINAL PROOF caught tiring horses BLACK BAY went in the air at the start, trailed most of the trip and was unable to menace. MISS SICLETTE weakened after six furlongs. ENTHUSED was outrun. IDEALIST quit. Overweight— Final Proof, 2 pounds. Miss Siclette claimed by 0. Sledge. Black Bay claimed by Mrs. A. C. Robertson. Attendance, 12,230; Total Mutuel Pool, 77,109.
