SCOBEYVILLE was within easy striking distance, quickly opened a clear lead entering the stretch and continued evenly. WINNING FLEET was well placed, loomed threateningly from the outside on the stretch turn, then hung. ROMAN FAIR could not keep up after a good start, but closed well in the stretch drive despite trying to lug in. OCCUPANCY lacked early speed, came between horses for the drive and lacked clear racing room. PENSAVA weakened under pressure. PIPING ARMS had speed under urging and quit. BARBECK was nicely reserved within striking distance, willingly went to the front when ready and drew out handily. DOVE TINT, sluggish early was unable to find room on the inside rounding the turn and remained in hand to the head of the stretch, then closed with impressive courage. INACTION was intermittently taken under strong restraint setting the pace then weakened in the drive. WILL TO WIN was reserved in closest attendance to the pace and weakened when put to pressure. SARAMULI lacked a rally. SCOTCH BUSH had no excuse. WHY SURE gave a dull effort Overweight — Barbeck, 1 pound. , Will to Win claimed by J.
