HY FRONT raced nearest QUEEN HOPEFUL after the start, was unable to reach the latter and was under strong pressure to withstand MRS. GOODE. MRS. GOODE moved up steadily approaching the stretch, closed well but could not overtake HY FRONT. BIT 0. BIM had no mishap. SOUTHERN BABY began sluggishly. BE-MI-DEAR had early speed but failed to stay. BOLO BOY raced evenly to the stretch, was taken to the middle of the track for the drive and. responding to punishment, disposed of the leaders to win going away. HORSE FLY, a keen factor from the start, entered the stretch with a clear advantage, but was unable to withstand the top one. FEUDING was unable to reach the leaders when set down in the drive. SOCIAL LADY lacked early speed. FOXEY EASTER gave a fair effort and had no excuse. BUSY VICTORY was never dangerous. ROYAL CRISPIE disliked the muddy track. WAR DOLLAR raced well to the stretch, then weakened. JASON began fast, but steadily lost ground after the start. FASTENER showed nothing. COOLIE had no mishap. JET FLEET, well placed after the initial quarter mile, was taken out slightly fcr the stretch run and, responding to strong handling, wore down BAYBROOK in the last sixteenth. The latter went to the front early, set the pace until inside the stretch, then could not hold the winner and probably needed the race. POMACE, a keen factor from teh outset, raced well to the final furlong, then faltered. ROAMING saved ground at the stretch turn, but could not get to the leaders when set down in the drive. ROYAL MUSTANG disliked the slow track. SEAWARD began slugishly and was far back the entire trip. MODEL QUEST drifted out while tirinq during the stretch run. PRANDIUM moved up boidly approaching the stretch, was unable to seriously threaten the top one, but was easily best of the others. BABY KATHY, in hand to the last quarter mile, could not get to the leaders when set down in the drive. LAMOUR, hustled between horses after the start to attain the lead, tired badly after three-quarters mile. OCEAN SKY was through early. SUPER SPEED showed nothing. SEVEN GRACES raced wide.
