C, April 30.— President Eisenhower has warned the nation that its prosperity and very security depend upon trade with other nations. He told the U. S. Chamber of Commerce last night this is the "material foundation" of the administrations whole foreign policy because "we must trade with others or we cannot exist." See Churchill Soviet Gesture LONDON, England, April 30. — Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill today was believed to be considering some "gesture" to improve conditions for high level talks with the Russians later this year. Reliable sources said Churchill, in postponing his foreign affairs debate from next week until later in May, was making a play for time. Ignored AFL Orders: Ryan WASHINGTON, D. C, April 30.— East Coast longshore boss Joseph P. Ryan said in a stormy Senate hearing today he had ignored AFL orders to throw criminals out of key jobs in his union. "Its not my business to drop everybody that had a criminal record," the young, husky lifetime president of the International Longshoremens Association said. He appeared before a Senate commerce subcommittee investigating waterfront racketeering. Sabrejets Destroy Five MIGs SEOUL, Korea, April 30. — American Sabrejets destroyed or damaged five Communist MIG-15s today while hundreds of U.N. war planes bombed North Korean military targets from the battlefront to the Yalu River.
