John A. Morris, TRA Head, To Visit Ak-Sar-Ben Saturday OMAHA, Nebr.. May 18.— John A. Morris, president of the Thoroughbred Racing Associations of the United States, will make a special trip to Omaha Saturday, May 23, to visit the Ak-Sar-Ben race meeting. Morris, whose family colors have been in racing longer than any other in the country, is a prominent figure on the national turf scene. A member of the New York Stock Exchange. Morris is president of the Metropolitan Jockey Club, operators of the Jamaica race track, and is a member of The Jockey Club in addition to being president of the TRA. Morris, who will be accompanied to Omaha by Mrs. Morris, will be honored at a luncheon Saturday before attending the races that day with a group of Ak-Sar-Ben officials.
