Bubbley Out of Pimlico Race PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 18.— Ben A. Jones, general manager of the Calumet Farm Stable and trainer of the eastern division of that establishment, has declared the filly Bubbley out of the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes at Pimlico on Saturday, May 30. Jones has elected to send the daughter of Bull Lea in the Delaware Oaks, which is a mile and a furlong, instead of the mile and a sixteenth of the Susan. Absence of Bubbley from the Black-Eyed Susan may cost the Maryland Jockey Club something in the way of an attraction since the Calumet filly had won the Kentucky Oaks, but on the other hand it may provide the local race with a larger field, since many trainers prefer the shorter route and a few will be ducking Bubbley.
