i I i Flute Enchantee Runs Third In French 1,000 Guineas PARIS, France, May 18 Reuters. — Baron Guy de Rothschilds Epsom Oaks candidate, Flute Enchantee, finished third in the French One Thousand Guineas Poule Dessai Es Puliches run over one mile Saturday at Longchamps. The winner was Comtesse de Nicolays outsider. Hunrli, who beat R. Methe-Dums Tanah Gahboses by four lengths, with Flute Enchantee, who started the favorite, a length further away in third place in the field of 10. After the race the manager of the Rots-child stable said the decision would be made soon whether Flute Enchantee would run in the Oaks. They have a choice for the filly between the English race and the Prix de Diana at Chantilly. Flute Enchantee finished well yesterday but seemed to find the distance too short. Ridden by Roger Poincelet. Hunrli, who is by Minstral, out of Jira. paid 209 francs for 10 f ranees. Another French entry for the Oaks, Aga Khans Dynastie gained an easy score in the Prix Porthles run over one mile at Longchamp. Trainer Alec Head said after- ward that Dynastie probably would not run at Epsom but would contest the Prix de Diane instead. Baron Rotschilds Epsom Derby colt. Cobalt, easily won the Poule Dessaides Pou-laines over one mile. Ridden by Paul Blanc, Cobalt registered by two and a half lengths from G. Ginters Kobus, with Marcel Bous-sacs Canthre a half length away in third place.
