OFF AT 5:32 CENTRAL DAYLIGH TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. RED SAM moved up to catch BEAMING LIGHT nearing the stretch turn, then drew out slightly, but bore out badly in the stretch and, although well in front coming to the end, was being hustled. HABERDASHERY trailed the field in the early stages and went wide while making his move, but was going strongly at the end. BEAMING LIGHT drew into a long lead, on the backstretch, but weakened in the run home. RIOT was close enough early and had no excuse. THE BLUE MISS tired. The others were outpaced.
