The pair raced some years in Maryland and Kentucky, and when Chicago opened, they were there, too. Glick was a silent partner with Buxton the first year at old Tia Juana, when their Sasin won the first running of the Cof froth Handicap. Later, Glick owned and trained horses at the Fair Grounds, New Orleans; Montreal, Aurora, Chicago, Maryland and on the New York circuit. When Tanforan opened with options in 1930, Glick was on hand, training for Terry OMalley and others. And he trained at Santa Anita from the very beginning, on Christmas Day of 1934, to the time he was forced out by illness in February of last year. Glick was for some years a director of the California Thoroughbred Owners and Trainers Association, which later was merged into the HBP A. Glick leaves a childless widow, Grace.
