OLE NELSON was rated some distance back of the leaders while saving ground in the first six furlongs, then moved up next to the rail to find a wide opening on the stretch turn and coming through to take command, drew out to win easily. EN FLEUR went to the front at once, courageously withstood -a challenge from BLUNT nearing the stretch turn, and although losing considerable ground by bearing out on the turn, went in gallant fashion to the finish under her weight. BLUNT was held in reserve close to EN FLEUR in the first three quarters, moved up even with her nearing the far turn but was repelled, then followed her out on the stretch turn and just lasted to hold BLUE LICKS. BLUNTS rider claimed foul against EN FLEUR and the claim was disallowed. BLUE LICKS was going well at the finish. The others failed to figure seriously. Scratched— 85895 Albermarle, 113.
